There’s no doubt about it. Kamala Harris is a top tier candidate for the Democratic nomination for President.
After her first two strong debate performances, she’s distinguished herself not only as a strong debater but perhaps the favorite to capture the nomination.
Which is why it’s unsurprising that so many people are scared of her and want her out of the race.
One of those is Fox News personality Tomi Lahren. The young conservative commentator tweeted out a controversial message during last night’s presidential debate:
“Kamala did you fight for ideals or did you sleep your way to the top with Willie Brown?” Lahren tweeted.
Her tweet has been met with almost universal condemnation, including from her fellow Fox News personalities.Kamala did you fight for ideals or did you sleep your way to the top with Willie Brown?— Tomi Lahren (@TomiLahren) August 1, 2019
I am curious to know what you think bringing a woman’s personal/sexual life into this accomplishes. Men do that to us enough as it is. I’m honestly asking. https://t.co/MgO0yMrAHT— Kat Timpf (@KatTimpf) August 1, 2019
And from CNN:Do you have any idea how damaging this is to women who’ve actually been sexually harassed, assaulted or demeaned in the workplace? How much this weakens our own gender, regardless of partisanship. My goodness.— Britt McHenry (@BrittMcHenry) August 1, 2019
From BPR:This kind of commentary is really reprehensible. https://t.co/qOl2djsxlk— Oliver Darcy (@oliverdarcy) August 1, 2019
Young conservative commentator Tomi Lahren is facing criticism from the left and right for saying what may very well be the truth about Democrat presidential candidate Sen. Kamala Harris — albeit saying it in a way that they apparently believe was sleazy and inartful. …
A couple unnamed Fox personalities also complained privately to CNN senior reporter Oliver Darcy.
“I did hear from several Fox employees who reached out to me on their own accord,” he revealed in CNN chief media correspondent Brian Stelter’s daily evening newsletter.
“‘It makes me sick that I work for the same company as Tomi Lahren,’ one Fox employee told me. ‘Mindblowing how we give this woman a job.’ Another employee texted me the URL to Lahren’s tweet, calling it ‘unacceptable.’” …
It is common knowledge that Harris got her start in politics when she was in her twenties and had an extramarital affair with San Francisco’s 60-year-old mayor, Willie Brown.
Brown exposed the affair earlier this year during an interview that has since been buried by the mainstream media to protect Harris’s presidential ambitions.
Now, in a new article, Mayor Brown had some harsh words for Harris and exposed some dirty secrets about her past.
From The Daily Wire:
“The first Democratic debates proved one thing: We still don’t have a candidate who can beat Donald Trump,” Brown wrote. “California Sen. Kamala Harris got all the attention for playing prosecutor in chief, but her case against former Vice President Joe Biden boiled down in some ways to a ringing call for forced school busing. It won’t be too hard for Trump to knock that one out of the park in 2020.” …
“Yes, we dated,” Brown said. “It was more than 20 years ago.”
“Yes, I may have influenced her career by appointing her to two state commissions when I was Assembly speaker,” Brown continued. “And I certainly helped with her first race for district attorney in San Francisco.”
What do you think of this? Was Tomi Lahren right? Or did she take it too far this time?
