Per Fox News: House Judiciary Committee Chairman Rep. Jerrold Nadler, D-N.Y., was involved in a car accident Tuesday morning on his way to Washington but was not injured, a Nadler spokesman said.
Nadler was not driving, Fox News is told.
While he was not hurt, the accident will delay the start of a planned hearing that Nadler is set to preside over with Attorney General Bill Barr.
UPDATE: Per CNN,
The House Judiciary Committee’s hearing with Attorney General Bill Barr is now scheduled to begin at 10:45 a.m. ET, a spokesperson said.
The hearing had originally been slated to begin at 10 a.m. ET, but was pushed back after House Judiciary Chair Jerry Nadler was involved in a car accident this morning.
Earlier this morning, President Trump tweeted:
“Nadler calls ANTIFA violence a MYTH.” @foxandfriends They are Anarchists with miles of “tape” showing their illegal activity. Jerry, blame it on Russia, Russia, Russia!
